I go through the O'Hara airport many times a year, but actually visit the town only once a year, usually in November/December, which is why all of my Chicago photos are so gloomy.
Like the last visit (Dec. 2005), the temperature was only 5F with wind-chill -15F!!! One night, I walked 1 block from the restaurant to the street corner to catch a taxi, I stepped on ice, and fell flat forward... both of my knees are bruised... not sexy... not at all. (T_T)
But Chicago is a beautiful city, and got so much to offer. Food is great, the shopping is great, culturally rich, and people are very nice. I just need to visit there in Spring or Summer to really enjoy the city, and to take some photos with blue sky in a background. |
