| | The First Visit I took a bus trip from Brussels to Amsterdam. The guide spoke in 4 different languages fluently. (He looked a bit like Jean Reno.)
On the way to Amsterdam, we visited wooden shoe factory and cheese factory. We had a lunch at the restaurant right next to the wind mill. It was nothing but a tourist trap, but actually, I enjoyed it. Everthing made me feel like I'm in one of the kid's story books.
The town of Amsterdam was very busy with people, tram, and bicycles. I spent 2~3 hours for a canal ride, but I should've rented a bicycle and headed to the Van Gogh museum instead!!! |
The Second Visit I flew in from London, and took a train to Amsterdam city centre. This time, I did go to the Van Gogh Museum, and a few other museums. In Amsterdam, you'll see a museum in every block, along with nice restaurants, cafes, and the best of all, beautiful canal view. | | |

My friend went bicycling there for days and really loved it. |
