| | ---- I ---- work hard so that I can play hard. love my MINI which takes me everywhere I want to go (except in snowy Connecticut Winter). drink Guinness and Guinness and Guinness. They say it's good for you! : )
like it loud, when the metal bands like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, AC/DC and DIO play. love to roll with the rock bands like The Rainbow, Def Leppard, Scorpions, Thin Lizzy, U2, INXS, Aerosmith, Eagles, Cheap Trick, and Hanoi Rocks. am still a little punk because the bands like The Clash, Ramones and Green Day.
listen to love songs by Luther Vandross, Bobby Coldwell and Marvin Gaye, and relax with Joe Sample and Keith Jarrett. used to play Chopin and Liszt, but my piano has been collecting dust for many years. |
like all types of movie, especially the ones with Sean Bean, Jason Statham or Ray Stevenson ('cause they are hot!). don't care much for "chick-flicks", but love "Love Actually" and "Princes Bride".
fell in love with Gustave Caillebotte's "the floor scrapers" in Orsey museum, adore Degas's ballerina, and want to go inside Dali's head.
always want to travel near and far, to see, to discover, to escape, to meet, to learn, to experience, to be alone, and to be with friends and family. So far, I've been to 37 countries and 49 states in US. I'll be there someday, North Dakota!!
enojoy scuba diving, but only in warm and clean water! I'll never dive in a water where I cannot even see my hand in front of my face again. (That's Connecticut water.)
have done some stupid things in my life, but have no regrets so far. It's better than to regretting for not doing things anyway! | | | Bringin' on the Heartbreak |

I was born in Onomichi, Hiroshima, Japan. An old town used to be quite prosperous with ship building industry. I really don't have any memory of my childhood in this town since we moved a nearby island called Innoshima, when I was 3.
I have lots of good memories of the 5 years spent on the island. Orange picking in fall, swimming in the inland-sea, summer festivals, playing outside until the sun goes down, jumping rope, chalk drawing on the street.....
Then, we moved to Mihara where my grand parents lived. It's still inside the Hiroshima pref. I stayed in Mihara till I moved to Osaka to go to college.
From Japan, I moved to Memphis, TN. Then to CA (mostly in LA), to OR, and to CT in 2000.
Lately, I've been traveling a lot, unfortunately on business in many cases. But I try to sneak out the meeting room to explore the town. I've got to check out the local beer at least!
And, when I'm in town, I take my MINI for a spin with a collection of my HR/HM CDs playing loud... to "11th" notch! (Yep, I love "The Spinal Tap".) |

I've been married for 20+ years. We have two wonderful children (a daughter and a son), who are both all grown up.
We had a cat (Spiky - died in May 2007), who used to wake me up 4am for attention, but I loved him, and he was the best cat in the world for me.
Our dog (Rex) died in July 2006. He was a big part of our lives, and we miss him very much. | | | Rex jumping in snow (2006) |
