Jelling is the cradle of the Viking Age in Denmark. This place, located in the middle of a hilly and green countryside, can be considered the most important Viking spot all over the Jutland Peninsula. There stand two Runic Stones, dating back to the X century AD. These stones stand amid two Viking gravings, consisting of small rounded hills - named "hoej". |
