    Getting TO/AROUND: Al Ghazal Express is a new taxi service launched recently. The initial fare in a private taxi starts from Dh2, charging 50 fails for each kilometer traveled. The Al Gazelle Express, however, does offer a competitive fare structure, starting with just Dh2 and Dh1 per kilometer thereafter, during the day. Between the hours of midnight and 6am, the fare shoots up with Dh4 being the initial charge and Dh1 per kilometer thereafter. Currently they are using new Toyota Camry vehicles. The service mainly available by call. However, sometimes you may find it in the front of some places like Abu Dhabi Co-Op or hotels.

    Getting TO/AROUND: The popular Abu Dhabi taxi will disappear from the capital streets soon. The old taxies will be soon replaced by newer caps similar to Dubai. The prices will increase too. Taxi fares in Abu Dhabi will start at Dh2.50 against Dh2 at present. Fare meters will also rise by Dh1 for every additional kilometer, against Dh.50 at present.
