A 25-acre, palm-lined park on a sandstone bluff, that stretches over ten blocks along Ocean Avenue. Palisades Park offers an ocean view, beautiful landscaping and extended exercise paths.
On a clear day you can see all the way to Malibu and if you're lucky you can see Catalina Island.
It has been my training ground for the L.A. Marathon. This park has also become the resting ground for the depressingly large homeless population in Santa Monica but I hope you won't let that deter you.
