The versatile beach!

It's one of those days, you can't decide whether to go hiking, head to the crag, lay out on the beach or go surfing -- well, this is one place I know you can do all that.

Point Dume is just north of Malibu, 18 miles west of Santa Monica. The entrance is on Westward Road.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Great top-rope climbing location, nice and clean sandy beach, great swells for surfing!
Cons:Gets really crowded!

Quite the little Stud! Rusty bolts and all. Just think how much that rappelling/abseiling would cost you in other parts of the World! Of course, we weren't top-roping now were we? ;-}
