Norway was a great surprise in more ways than one. First of all the scenery was wonderful. The Fjords and the mountains were everything I'd expected. The people too...stunning. I had learned prior to visiting that Norway was expensive -- but whoa, until you are there and really see it and experience it you can't believe it. |

|  | Hemsedal No wonder the Olympics were held around here in the 90's, the skiing even in December was fantastic. |
| | Fredrikstad This old walled city in the south is a gem in itself. Although more of a summer location for travellers the restaurants, shops and coffee shops along the river are very inviting. |
