Gilleleje is located about an hour north of Copenhagen. Its an extremely charming little fishing village. My wife's parents have a summer house very near here and I'm always happy to find an excuse to head into Gilleleje. Whether I'm picking up groceries, bakery items or fish from one of the fish markets down by the harbor, is a thoroughly enjoyable village to stroll around. I love checking out the fishing boats and fisherman in the harbor. |

| | Sturdy souls I can barely handle the Danish weather from nice, dry land. The thought of the fisherman heading out onto the freezing sea always sends chills down my spine. I've got a lot of respect for those hardy souls! |
