Here's a nice shot of Camps Bay (a Cape Town suburb and beachtown). The peaks along the right side of this photo are known as the 12 Apostles. Where they end, Table Mountain begins. The round peak directly ahead is called Lion's Head. The gap between Table Mountain and Lion's Head is called Kloof Nek, and directly over it lies the heart of Cape Town. (the picture of George and Rob below gives you an idea of what the city looks like on the other side from atop Table Mountain).

You got a great page on CT. I liked your tips and photos. all the best. Bora
you named 2 of my favourite vineyards in Stellenbosch - see you in Krakow
I helped to put The Wooden Shoe in place. Hans Roukema was the original owner and I have the recipe for all the wonderful sauces..made enough of it for the restaurant. This was way back in 1961/62 and a good time was always had at TWS.
I have hear that Cape Town have a lot of sharks! Is it truth? Nice page! Nikos
wonderful tips. glad to have found your pages. good tidings from a fellow mac user.
are you kidding me? sign my a$$ up for some grub!
Those fish and chips in Hout Bay are good, aren't they. I enjoyed your pictures of South Africa.
Strandloper is tacky. Seafood over-cooked, bony, dry. Paella grey and awful. The bread superb, the half crayfish lovely, singer & Hostess great. Try the Prawn Shack north of Durban to see how rustic seafood on the beach should be done.
I wish I would've known about Die Strandloper....it looks fantastic...
Die Strandloper looks awesome! And who can resist Jackass penguins?
