Visiting England was one of the highlights of 2001 for me. I have family there that I had never met before, so it was amazing to meet them for the first time. We landed in London, and spent a day half a day looking around before heading to Andover, where my family is located. We were there for several days, and toured Winchester, Stonehenge, Portsmouth, and Salisbury. I'm a huge Jane Austen fan, so we did a Jane Austen day tour, which was so much fun. We left Andover for London, where we spent three days in a hostel (there's a crazy story there) and walked around the city. We visited museums, took tour busses, shopped, ate, and just enjoyed ourselves in a beautiful and exciting city! We were there in June and July of 2001 - our first and last stops of our trip were in England.
