These serviced apartments have all the benefits of your own flat in Bkk in addition to having the facilities normally found in a hotel. For myself, partner and two teenage daughters we had a two bedroom appartment for our seven day stay in Bkk. Two bedooms, one with king size bed and the other with two queen beds. Both rooms had en-suite bathrooms. Plus a nice lounge, dining, kitchen area. Three TVs too. Very clean with frequent fresh linen and maid service etc. Great value for money at 29,337 Baht (2004) for the week (744USD) (393GBP). Booked it using email and telephone through the managing agents metha@cbrehospitality.com . Metha was great and even arranged for a van (minibus) to collect us from the airport. Well recommended.
Unique Qualities: Fantastic staff, very professional but friendly too. We wanted to change rooms and this was done without question and fuss-excellent! To keep the kids happy we used the pool most days had it to ourselves. There's a good gym there too but I was on holiday wasn't I? Great location with Nana skytrain station at the bottom of the Soi which is then just a few stops from the great shopping centres like MBK, Siam and Central World Plaza etc.

I've stayed in this hotel twice now and such is the package that I will return in the future. Located 100 meters off Sukhumvit Road, you walk into the recently refurbished minimalist foyer. The bedrooms are large, bright, nicely furnished and clean. Huge windows give great views over Bkk (other buildings) and an airy feel. TV, mini bar (free bottled water daily) and coffee making equipment. En suite was fine. Staff were always smart and professional although reception could be a little more engaging and friendly (this was 2003). Never ate in the restaurant but room service was great. I had delightful lobster which was not only cheap but served with an Orchid.
Unique Qualities: This hotel is good value for money. Can easily be booked through the internet but I used Travelmood in the UK. Care if you book direct as they may offer you (high) rack room rates I've not yet made it to the pool but looking out from my window it looks fine! 100 meters down the Soi is Foodland, a 24/7 supermarket and cafe. Brilliant for a freshly cooked nibble at 4am. Always busy. Cheap

Address: 16 Sukhumvit Soi 5, Bangkok, Central
Directions: 5 minutes walk from Nana skytrain station so easy travelling to all the main areas. This area of Sukhumvit is always busy but very much so in the early evening when the stall holders and food sellers really get going. Great fun.

Stayed here Nov 2005. Had 3 rooms, 2 of them connecting. All smelt musty and dank. Rooms a little on the small side but clean and adequate. I chose this due to its proximity to the Nana Skytrain station although next time I would use the Bel-Aire Princess further up the road. Despite the fact that we booked the hotel 2 months prior, one of the connecting rooms was not available until 8pm. Apparently the existing occupant had paid for a late check out. Remarked to reception that we had paid for the room too so they had been paid twice but she just laughed. They gave us a temporary room but its just not worth unpacking to repack again 8 hours later.
Unique Qualities: Excellent buffet breakfast as good as you will find anywhere with great, attentive restaurant staff.
