A tropical Christmas | looks like Christmas, doen't it? |
Not exactly a winter wonderland of snow... but the sand is white, the palm trees are evergreen and I'll take 80 F in the shade over 10 F in the sun any day. |
| | Haunted Guest House Marrero's is one of the lovely Victorian-style mansions in Old Town Key West. Reportedly haunted by several gosts. Excellent host, nice rooms, heated pool, hot tub, minibar at the pool, happy hour daily and getting to hear the whole sordid tale of Marrero from the nightly ghost tours are some of the best parts of staying here. Key West is all about fun and sun, so getting both here is very easy. Just ask any of the locals. |
| | Wanderings... It is so charming here. Walking around the Old Town, people leave their doors open and smile all the time. Thanks to Hemmingway & his fans, there are more cats then you can count and most funny to me, the Key West "Eagle"... Roosters and hens can be found everywhere... and I mean EVERYWHERE. I can only imagine what some people come home to find after leaving the door open all day. |
