And truly, this magnificent structure is truly impressive.. One can only imagine how grand everything was back in the olden days under the rule of Jayavarnam the 7th!! |

At nite, this same area sees dating couples holding hands and whispering sweet-nothings to each other... Ah........ |
Floating Villages in the Tonle Sap lake.. Not everything however, is grand and royal in Cambodia...
The Tonle Sap lake, houses in its massive lake of water several large community of floating villages.. where houses sit on stilts and villagers travel by various mode of water transporation, sampans, motor boats and even rattan/bamboo weaved "baskets"... there were even small kids riding ontop of overturn syrofoam boxes' covers... truly amazing! :P |  | |
