Pity.. the colosseum has deteriorate some... what with all the hackin off of its fine marbles and the neverending restorations.... keepin our fingers crossed that it will go back to its former glory.. minus the inhumane fights between humans and beast, I mean... :*)
Nevertheless, Rome has some of the best structures, buildings, sculptures plus amazing fountains as well.. most famous of all is the Trevi mountain.... and the breathtaking Fontana dei dei Quatto Fiumi (fountains of the 4 rivers) in Piazza Navona |
