Having been to Bangkok a couple of times I was told that KL is like a cleaner, more modern Bangkok and I'd say that that's not far off the mark.
KL may not have the history or tourist attractions of other cities but I rate it as a must see due to it's food and what I can only describe as its 'energy'.
To stand at the base of the twin towers is incredible but instead of trying to get up to the observation deck, I'd recommend going to the KL Tower and travelling up to their observation deck (you'll actually get a better & higher view!).
For shopping try the big malls like Lot 10 where you'll find shoes and clothes in quantities I never imagined existed.
For food, there's plenty everywhere. I liked the chinatown district but Little India is also a good place for a bite. |
