It's not just a movie.... I went via Fargo to visit a friend just over the Minnesota border. The airport is small but efficient and is a major link to other destinations.
The city itself is one long sprawl of water towers, big box stores and the expansive North Dakota State University.
The Downtown consists mainly of the gentrified Broadway area- about 3 blocks of lounges, college bars and a few restaurants that you will find in any equivilent "re-vistalized" downtown. The entire Downtown section feels like a railway depot that had had its day and is trying hard to revitalize itself. I did not have a chance to visit Moorhead. |
