A quick stop... Before heading towards the Belgian border (final destination Antwerp) I visited a friend of mine living in Tilburg.
I travelled from Amsterdam- transferring in Den Bosch- to Tilburg. The main train station is a 10 minute walk into the heart of this pleasant town. A good mix of university students as well as locals. Very good theater and movie culture, as well as a nice mix of restaurants, bars and cafes.
Definitely not a major tourist destination but nice to visit if you know a local. |
