"School and Later" Urbana by dadaddyio

We visited Urbana this winter break. My brother in law moved there. Both my wife and I went to school there. We always enjoyed the lifestyle--college students bring energy to a town, and there are always interesting places to eat. Yes, it's flat around there, but bikers and skaters and runners love it, and after living surrounded by trees for the last twenty years, I really enjoyed the wide open views, especially at night.

• Pros:Older neighborhoods, University, nice downtown
• Cons:No "scenic spots" like mountains or beach.
• In a nutshell:We enjoyed it, and often think of moving back.
