    Getting TO/AROUND: The taxi line at McCarran airport was the longest line I've EVER encountered for a taxi. It was more like a CD signing by J.Lo at Tower Records. Still, it moves quickly but when it's busy, don't expect to get a taxi under a half hour.

    Insider tip: even if it's not true, when the taxi driver asks "Ever been to Vegas before?" - say "yes, a couple of times!" The taxis aren't known for taking advantage of people, but a little less wide eyes and a little more cool with a taxi driver goes a long way in your wallet's benefit.
