The first thing any traveler should understand about upstate New York is that it is totally different from New York City. New York City is a 7 hour drive from where I live yet the cultural separation can be measured in light years instead of miles.
The horse, Pegasus, was created by a close and talented friend, Bill Holowka. Bill not only entered Pegasus in Rochester, New York's Horses on Parade, but he also brought to life the horses on the carousel at SeaBreeze by Lake Ontario.
Pegasus stands near the Rochester Museum and Science Center, located at the corner of East Avenue and Goodman Street in the heart of Rochester.
