One thing that I never get tired of in Las Vegas is watching the fountains at Bellagio, especially at night. One year I had a room at Paris that overlooked the fountains, and I could hear the music through my window. It was awesome!
Most people probably don't think that being bussed 26.2 miles out into the desert at 5am and being told to run back to town is all that much fun. But I do! Even if your only company is made up of cactus, tumbleweeds and other sufferers, er, I mean runners.
It helps to have friends that live in Sin City. Not that I don't love the typical Las Vegas activities (for me that means losing my money at the sports book). But sometimes it's fun to do as the locals do. Back in May of 2000 my friends took me to a concert at Sam Boyd stadium. I think it was called "Our Big Day Out" and it was basically a bunch of bands and a bunch of people and a lot of fun!
- Pros:Sports books, Bellagio fountain
- Cons:I never seem to leave with any money

Where else (except maybe at your own home) can you sit in a recliner, get your grub on, and watch sports on waaaaay too... more travel advice
