"Die Bruecke" (The Bridge) cultural institute

I have stayed in this lovely little German town many times.

There's a windmill museum, a Schloss, lots of shops, cafes and bars. I am sure there is loads more to do here but we always seem to spend long afternoons chatting with family and having coffee and cake :)) Most visitors will find their way to the Muehlen Museum at some point though!

Unfortunately as time was limited, I was unable to visit "The Bridge" , the new Russian Cultural Institute.

Probably I'll stay in Gifhorn this August when German shepherd championship is held in Braunschweig 25 km from there. Thanks Maria for giving me an argument to make a decision.

GIfhorn is a nice town. And not far away from my hometown Cofee and cakes are always the right choice ;-)
