I have stayed in this lovely little German town many times.
There's a windmill museum, a Schloss, lots of shops, cafes and bars. I am sure there is loads more to do here but we always seem to spend long afternoons chatting with family and having coffee and cake :)) Most visitors will find their way to the Muehlen Museum at some point though!
Unfortunately as time was limited, I was unable to visit "The Bridge" , the new Russian Cultural Institute. |

Probably I'll stay in Gifhorn this August when German shepherd championship is held in Braunschweig 25 km from there. Thanks Maria for giving me an argument to make a decision. |
