'De Valk' (the Falcon), built in 1743 - Leiden

We came to Leiden for a gig - contrary to my chosen title, I wasn't alone, there were a group of us - Solo were playing at the LVC and they are a two man band! - we didn't get to see too much of the city - but what we did manage to see was a pleasant surprise!

Man, the Dutch and their bicycles! I stopped here on the train, en route from Amsterdam to Bruges, and it looked like it might have been a place to come back and visit one day.
