    • St Peter's Church, Bexhill has a Norman Tower and Saxon stonework. This church was built on land given by King Offa of Mercia in 772AD and is one of two churches in Bexhill recorded in the Doomsday Book.

    • This is how many locals spend their day at the beach - fully dressed sheltering in a beach hut, or behind a windbreaker or umbrella! - usually they are reading - or eating.. or sleeping.

    • Bexhill beach is very popular with sea anglers. They fish from the shore or offshore, day and night, for plaice, sea bass, pollock etc. And sometimes, I suppose, they just sit in the club house and watch the sea and talk about fishing.

    At the Galley Hill end of the beach is the angling club where you can see all their little fishing boats.
