  • Everywhere is off the beaten path in Bexhill, because no one has ever heard of it.

This is a seafront shelter - the old folk here need them to sit in on rainy days, windy days, cold days and sunny days.

The council think these colours are cheery. I think they got a cheap job lot.

  • If you walk east along the seafront you will come to Galley Hill - there is a coast guards house and a play park and skate park at the top of the hill - and also some quite nice views over St Leonards and Hastings.

  • Her Majesty's Coastguard provide an amazing service co-ordinating search and rescue teams in and around UK waters.

Of course in popular seaside areas with mass tourism this often involves rescuing hikers, swimmers and boaters who have got into difficulty in the sea or on cliffs.

Interesting new tip here, but Pinocchio's is quite an unusal name for a Jamaican place.
