Dover - Castles, Cliffs and Channel Crossings

by Mariajoy - last update: Nov 27, 2005

Dover Castle
I have been to Dover a few times - but only once to see the castle. All the other occasions have been to take a ferry crossing to the Continent so my pages aren't really about the town. If I ever go to Dover just to see the town I will update this page with more useful information. In the meantime I mostly only have a few grey and rainy pics taken in or on or around the boat!

I once felt awfully motion sick on a Dover-Calais ferry or the other way round. I have yet to brave the Eurotunnel some time.

I love travelling by ferry, but prefer longer journeys. Hope to take one to/from Dover someday.
