Staying in a friends 10th storey appartment we could see, on a clear day the islands. Apparently this was a rare occurence (due to high pollution levels) and we were very fortunate to get this occasional glimpse.

Great insights about Istanbul...more like an "insider's". Poor little chicks; great about the shoe shine boy. Enjoyed a look at the "real" city and how the people live.
