Pictured is the famous Tiki Bar on Solomons Island. This outdoor bar opens each season on the second Friday in April. Opening day can draw up to 15,000 people.
This is Solomons Harbor. Up until the early 1970's, Solomons Island was just a small commercial fishing town.
My friend Fred can be seen in the background messing around in his "Dream Merchant"
This was just a lazy day floating around on the Patuxent River. This picture was taken 01 November, 2003. It was much warmer that day than it usually is in November. I think I had the whole river to myself.
