Cochem - One of my favorite towns on the Mosel

by JAFA-Rease - last update: Jun 5, 2005

Cochem is a beautiful old city situated on the northern portion of the Mosel River.

It has a fully restored castle which dominates the terrrain. The castle is open for tours, except in the winter months.

Depending on your age group/student status you can expect to pay approximately 3 Euro for a tour
City of Cochem
Cochem also has a nice shopping area which is cobbled. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants and bakeries to choose from.
Just got lucky!

Good Fortune!

If you hit all the right spots, you can bring yourself a bit of luck.

Hi, this was my first castle to ever visit. I thought it was absolutely great, and was very surprised after my visit to find out how fortunate I was, to be able to take pictures inside of it, as not able to do so in most other castles. 09/04/2006.
