In August of 2004 I left the moldy mildewed state of Michigan, headed for Las Vegas, New Mexico, to attend graduate school at New Mexico Highlands University. With a 27 ft. truck it is a three day trip from Benton Harbor. I love northeastern New Mexico. The weather is wonderful, and the sunsets over the mountians are just as spectacular as those I grew up with over Lake Michigan.
