Husband was attending Fi CEE Exhibition , so I went to help him. I even ended up taking over when he was ill, which meant my sightseeing had to be curtailed. However it did mean I was able to see a lot of VT evaanna who helped us set up and man the stand , and took us to Wilanow with her husband, and advised us of what else we could see in the time we had. There is no way I can add anything to the information she gives in her Warsaw pages, so my comments will be of a more personal nature. |
| | The Old Town VT evaanna told us that whatever we did, we must visit the Old Town. So after checking out our stand at the Exhibition Centre we took the 175 bus to the Old Town and spent hours wandering around that beautiful place. For more see my tips. |

| | She also insisted we should go to Lazienki Park. We decided that it didn't look to far to walk to, set off. It was fine until two hours later we still hadn't reached it. In the end we gave in and stopped a Taxi. We had turned in the wrong direction when in another park, but it gave us an unexpected tour . After wandering thi magnificent park and enjoying the spring flowers, we met up with Ewa and her husband again for lunch and atrip to Wilanow , and their home for tea and cookies. |
