Norwich is a town with a long history, once one of the most important in England in the Middle Ages. I have been there four times but either without a camera, out in the suburb of New Costessy, or in a hurry to get a train. My maternal grandmother's family came a few miles from Norwich, so I used Norwich as a base to go and visit the villages where the family lived. The bus from New Costessy to the station takes you on a short trip, past the castle and into the town itself. I must admit I found the castle unattractive and had no desire to see any more of it. |

yooperprof Mon Feb 18, 2008 16:39 UTC I spent a year in Narrr-itch in the early 1980s. Back then we said that it was cut off from the rest of England on three sides by the North Sea and on the fourth by British Rail! | rachel_sun Sat Aug 20, 2005 01:13 UTC I lived in Norwich 5 years.I miss the buzz of this beautiful City.(Shopping too of course being a lady) ;-) |
