We used to go to the Isle of Skye across the ferry, that is before the bridge was built. But my best trip was with a university friend. We had driven up the east coast of Scotland in a dormobile and then across the top and down till we reached Kylesku Ferry. After a scarey few moments, we got across the ferry and spent the night in a B&B in Broadford , name now forgotten. We then decided to visit Dunvegan Castle. It was interesting and very mich lived in, but the only thing I still remember is the kangaroo skin covering a couch.I didn't realise the skin would be so soft.

The Cuillins

Skye is of course famous for its mountains too, and the scenery is spectacular. Unfortunately I have few slides and they are poor quality after 45 years.
But it is a place worth visiting and spending a few days.

Have recently seen a Television program on the Isle of skye, thought it looked quite nice.

Interesting photos of Skye. I went there a few years back and the scenery was spectacular.
