Places I've visited

Morges is a town on Lake Lausanne. There is a little harbour, but unfortunately evidence of pollution was visible in the odd dead fish floating belly up.
Our visit entailed a visit to a bank where we opened an account. What an experience. My father and I were shut in a small windowless room until an employee was available to see us. We then went through all the procedures, and were told to get rid of any documentary evidence of the account, so tore the papers into little pieces and flushed them down the toilet.
It was like being in a novel. Unfortunately the account soon emptied and closed!

My first trip to this lovely country was when I was 15, with my school. Unfortunately I didn't have anything but a little box camera, and as a result black and white pictures,but I'll share the experience in a travelogue.
We were staying in Spiez, some in a hotel, others boarded out in chalets.

Pros and Cons

Pros:clean and beautiful scenery
Cons:uncomfortable wooden seats in trains.
In a nutshell:a jewel of a country

I have a hard time remembering trips I went on from my school days. These places have changed very little from those times. It is such a beautiful country then and now.

Great photos and enchanting memories of the schoolgirl in your travelogues. It's interesting what teenagers remember from their school trips.
