"Florence" a Florence Travel Page by uglyscot

We had a day in Florence as we had to go to the British consulate. They were extremely helpful , and there we met some unfortunate travellers who had been robbed. There was not a lot left of the day to do more than walk around briefly. For some reason all the art galleries were closed, but we did see the bridge over the Arno with its shops and were able to admire the architecture ,if not the art.
