We spent a night in Pisa on our way to Forte dei Marmi. Of course, a trip to the Leaning Tower was a must. However, I found the whole complex so beautiful- the pristine white marble, the intricate designs - that the Tower itself faded to nothing. |
| | Because Pisa is on the tourist route, inevitably there are salesmen selling the usual junk. However, the stalls themselves made a colourful sight as so many were selling 'mosaic' jewellery, coloured boxes, and miniature leaning towers. |
