The Great temple

The temple is amazing, especially when you remember it was cut into pieces and rebuilt above the waters of Lake Nasser.
The scenes inside are very interesting though not suitable to photograph.
Although smaller the Temple of Queen Nefertari is equally amazing-and the laser show....Wow!

The Nile

The Nile at Abu Simbel, by the Nefertari Hotel, was so beautiful, almost like glass in places.
We sat and watched the sunsetting before it was time to leave to see the Light and Sound.

Absolutely gorgeous! Ramses II's feet look almost like claws, don't you think? Excellent updates with beautiful new photos. You could easily be a guide there!

Thanks Shane for refreshing sweet memories about this magnificent place! After first look I thought your hotel was inside the Nefertary Temple! Hello from Russian Egyptian.
