"A Year in South Korea" South Korea by Arial_27
South Korea Travel Guide: 6,380 reviews and 17,032 photos
I arrived in South Korea in August 2009 and am spending one year here on an ESL teaching contract. I'm excited about the year to come and exploring the Korean culture and other parts of Asia. So far from what I've seen, its a beautiful place. Its my first time in Asia so it has been fun and interesting for me to see all the different things it has to offer.
I'm living in Busan, so most of my tips will be about places and things in Busan. I plan to travel to many places all over the country though so I hope to have lots of tips written about them as well.

Great insight into South Korea in general and Busan in particular. Glad to know that you are teaching kindergarten and elementary school students in the country. Bibimbap certainly looks delicious indeed! ~ho & pang
An interesting page. Nearly went there this year as have a friend who teaches English there, has done for quite a few years now.
Special food culture of another country, eat dog meat and live octopus! Good or bad? I don't know!! good tips, Kristin!
