I arrived in South Korea in August 2009 and am spending one year here on an ESL teaching contract. I'm excited about the year to come and exploring the Korean culture and other parts of Asia. So far from what I've seen, its a beautiful place. Its my first time in Asia so it has been fun and interesting for me to see all the different things it has to offer.

I'm living in Busan, so most of my tips will be about places and things in Busan. I plan to travel to many places all over the country though so I hope to have lots of tips written about them as well.

Teaching in Korea

I'm working in a hagwon (private academy) of English for kindergarten and elementary school students. This is a photo of me with some of the 7 year olds.
