Paris... the city of lights

L'Arc du Triomphe
Welcome to Paris! I wish you a pleasent stay and I hope you will enjoy my site ;)

Bienvenue a Paris! Je vous souhaite un tres bon sejour et j'espere que vous aimeriez mon site ;)

France is by far one of my favourite places in the world! The Eiffel Tower is a common image that comes to mind for most people when they think of France, and especially of Paris. But there is also SO MUCH MORE to see and discover about the city, and the country. In this page I hope to touch upon many of the hidden delights and treasures of Paris; I hope they will be helpful to you!
me "twin" exchange partner

My exchange partner

Franck was my exchange partner. He spent three months in Canada with my family and I spent three months with his family in France. They live in Seine Maritime, a northern province, in a small town called Blangy. This is a picture of us together before I left France. We shared a lot of the same interests and got along really well. Some people even mistaked us for brother and sister!

My host family

My host parents, Evelyne and Francois were amazing, wonderful people and did a lot for me while I was staying in their home. They wanted me to see and experience everything that their country has to offer; so they took me all over France to visit the Mont St. Michel, skiing in the Alps, Loire Valley, Paris and several other regions. Since my exchange, I've already been back once to visit them... and hopefully more times to come!

Excellent page! I really like the Arc de Triomphe pic...practically perfect! Good tip on Disneyland Paris, I haven't ever been there but always think of going every time I'm in Paris.

I think I can see where the confusion lies :) E.T was a ride in Universal Studios, Florida. I've been going to Eurodisney since '98 and there has never been an E.T. ride there, not even in the studio's and I've been going there since it opened :)
