Welcome to my Homepage

southern Poland, 2007
Hey all, my name is Kristin and I'm a recent university graduate from Canada who loves to travel. My addiction started after my trip to Sweden in 1999 when I was only 12 years old; I went there for the first time to visit reletives, and loved it so much that I returned in 2000 by myself to see them again. Since then I've taken almost every opportunity I could to visit new places, but I am most keen on chances to immerse myself in other cultures and learn new languages. Languages are a huge hobby of mine, and so ar I speak about 6 of them (some fluently, others conversationally or just at the basic level.) I'm happy to help anyone with English, Swedish, French or Spanish, and I would love to practice any of those, along with German or Korean if anyone is interested!
Otherwise enjoy my pages, and msg me if you have any questions or comments. Happy Traveling =)
Hwamyeong, the district of Busan that I live in

Living in Asia

In August 2009, I arrived in South Korea to work for 1 year. I'm living in Busan, which is the southeasternmost tip of the country, and therefore right on the coast with nice beaches. I'm very happy and excited to be here, so expect to see plenty of photos and tip go up about it soon. :)

I fell in love with Mexico

Mexico is an amazing country, if you ever have the chance to travel through the country and see more than just the touristy beaches, I'd highly recommend it. I lived in Mexico City as an exchange student, and the 6 months I spent there were some of the best of my life! I was there from January - June 2008, and went back in October 2008 and July 2009 for visits.
The country is beautiful, and very rich in culture, architecture, gastronomy and art. I am nothing less than in love with it :)
Teotihuacan, Mexico, 2008
