Thanks for stopping by. I'm a 21-year old Canadian student. Traveling is obviously a huge passion of mine; I've been hooked on it since my trip to Sweden in 1999 when I was 12 years old! I take almost EVERY opportunity I can to travel, but I'm most keen on chances to immerse myself in other cultures, learn new languages, and experience the day-to-day life of different places. I love exchange programs, volunteer, work or study abroad opportunities, or chances to visit friends and family in other places. Some of my tips will include touristy information, but a lot of them are my impressions on culture, way of life, local customs, ethnic traditions and food, etc. So I hope my pages will be helpful to you! |  | Living and breathing Mexico I'm studying in Mexico City for a semester as an exchange student. I arrived here in early January, and will be here until the beginning of July. I'm taking international relations courses at a small university in the southern district of the city. I'm renting a house with other exchange students and learning Spanish. It has been a great experience =) |

~My mom's side of the family is Swedish. I speak Swedish too, but with an accent that most Swedes don't recognize - I often get asked if I come from Finland or Denmark.
~I have two younger brothers
~I've been a vegetarian since I was 13
~I grew up in a very small town
~I love languages. I speak English, Swedish, French, Spanish and some German. I also know basic Polish and hope to learn more. I'm interested in learning some Japanese and Arabic one day too.

~I don't watch much TV, but I am crazy about "Friends" and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"

~I'm studying international relations and Spanish at university. I'm hoping to pursue studies in either law school or international development at the masters level after I get my undergraduate degree.
