Take a day to see the Louvre. Yes, a day. You'll be in line waiting for what feels like hours and there is so much to see inside, that the Mona Lisa almost seems disappointing... But if you don't have time to go inside, visit it anyway. There is a pleasant park outside and it's a nice walk from there to the Champs Elysees.
