What an exciting place. I went to Pikes Market, took in the Space Needle, Puget Sound, Jimi Hendrix grave (yes, I drove to a small town called Renton, WA where he is buried). It's a nice structure where he's buried.. I wish it had been a nice day so I could have seen Mt. Renier but on my final day in Seattle, I could see it off in the distance. |
| | The Pier I ate at an awesome restaurant on the pier called "Anthony's Pier 66" where I had their Hawaiian Ahi. I guess that's a cool sounding name for tuna. |
| | Safeco Field I toured Safeco Field where The Mariners play. I couldn't get tickets to any games because every game was sold out but the tour of the stadium was nice. |

deecat Fri Jun 22, 2007 00:07 UTC Still smiling about the "Jimi Hendrix" episode. Never been to Seattle but your photos and narrative are enticing. Thanks, Greg. | b1bob Sat Jul 23, 2005 04:55 UTC I like it. | DaDrifter Sat Jul 9, 2005 09:11 UTC Neat slice of Seattle, Greg! Interesting to read about the Starbuck's at a gas station, 1000 bats artifact and those toilet paper designs. I just might have accepted that offer to get stoned with Jimi ... nice of the kids to have asked though *LOL* | Stephen-KarenConn Thu Jun 23, 2005 03:03 UTC Did you see any of the flying fish at Pike's Market? Nice composite shot of the Space Needle! |
