St. Croix River

Interstate Sate Park is the second oldest state park in Minnestoa, established in 1895, this 293 acre park sits along the St. Croix River just south of Taylor Falls, Minnesota. On the other side of the river is Wisconsin where there is another state park developed around the same time.

PIcnic Area: Large picnic grounds - one large shelter and on enclosed shelter
Camp site: 37 drive-in campsite, 22 electric camp site - flush toilets
Children's play ares: No
Volleyball: yes
Horseshoe pit: No
Hiking Trails: 4.5 miles - .5 miles handicap accessible - however, this park does not have trails for bikes, horses, or cross country skiing

    Greg, The St. Croix River was a favorite weekend date place when in college. We used to bring beer cases across the river from Wisconsin in the car's trunk. lol State Highway Patrol finally started trunk inspections in the middle of the river bridge!Doug
