The greatest part of Turkey - about 97% - is situated in Asia but a tiny fragment, comprising most of Istanbul, clings onto Europe. In Istanbul, Eastern culture blends with Western commerce in one vast, chaotic metropolis. Haggle for leather in the Grand Bazaar, or browse the designer stores of the Alkmerkez Mal. Buy freshly squeezed juice from a seller on the street, or dance under the stars in high-tech club on the shores of the Bosphorus/ This crowded, chaotic city can be exhausting and frustrating but nobody could ever describe life in Istanbul as dull. |
| | Istanbul is a many-sided city. Museums, palaces, churches, mosques, noisy bazaars, representative the past, mixed with a sky-scrapers and business centers will impress you and prove u one more time that this city is really majestic and one of the most famous in the world. |
I visited Istanbul 8 times!!!!! And every time i come back there i find something absolutely new and and very exciting! Even 9 times is not enough to say that you know Istanbul. Its so huge and so different, colorful and unique! Impossible to describe it on one VT page. You have to visit it, feel the spirit and fall in love! | | |
