People travel for many reasons. Some travel to escape, some travel to heal, some travel to learn. No matter what the reason maybe, I am sure traveling brings to us all new experiences that evolve us in some way.
Some trips bring my heart closer to a place, the culture, their people which I may know nothing of before arriving. Other trips distance them due to one bad experience that may not represent the whole picture. It reminds me of the saying "seeing is believing".....the more I see, the more I understand, and the more I realize how easy it is to presume and how far from the truth that presumption can be. 3/06 |

Got tied up by other projects and had not done any serious travel in 2006.
Now that things are on track, time to come back to the source(well, source number 2) of my happiness.
Every time I've decided on a destination, I think of coming here to do research and meet locals or veteran travelers who's been to the area. Tibet is next, in June. 1/07 |
