Welcome to Lowell, Massachusetts USA. Lowell felt in a direct path during my ongoing travels in the USA during the summer of 2004. It was quite the experience to come to this city - roughly 30 miles from Boston, and a big part of the America Textile Revolution |
| | Lowell definitely had a feel to it that I found different from the rest of America. It's not as easily navigable as other cities. Although some call it a suburb of Boston, it was quite evident Lowell was fine on it's own. It didn't have a suburb feel. It lacked the mall culture that has stricken most suburbs. I found this refreshing. |
| | It was also here I had the pleasure to meet VT Member Emillenoelle. She was kind enough to take me around the city and show me the sights and sounds of Lowell. I learned alot from here, and I am deeply appreciative of her kindness. Her face is a little goofy looking here, but I caught her off guard :) |

All the way back to Boston you say! A great page and thanks for the entertainment too! | matcrazy1 Sun Jan 2, 2005 17:40 UTC The New England Quilt Museum sounds interesting! Ethnic minorities mean etnic food in local restaurants, right? Nice page! | jamiesno Tue Dec 21, 2004 18:02 UTC Hi Bobby your Lowell page is fun, I didn't realize there were so many minorities there. Emilie is a friend too and she is French Canadian too so that makes Lowell pretty cool. Belly dancing to boot!! |
