Lichtenstein castle

Genkingen is a village in the Swabian Alb (Schwäbische Alb), south of Reutlingen. It belongs to the community of Sonnenbühl, which consists of the villages Erpfingen, Genkingen, Undingen und Willmandingen. You can see that names ending on "-ingen" are really popular in that region!

My page is mainly about the two caves in Sonnenbühl, although there are other things to do also. For example there's a easter egg museum (Ostereimuseum) which is open most of the year. And of course the area is nice of hiking and you have lots of possibilities for excursions - like Schloss Lichtenstein just a few kilometers away, or the more famous Hohenzollern castle about 30 km away.
