Löffingen - town hall

Löffingen is a town in the Black Forest, in the south west of Germany. The town consists of Löffingen itself and its villages Bachheim, Dittishausen, Göschweiler, Reiselfingen, Seppenhofen and Unadingen. Löffingen has a small centre with several nice old houses. At the tourist information you can get a flyer with some information on the houses.

We stayed a few days a bit outside of Dittishausen and mainly were hiking in the Wutachschlucht - a gorge also called the "grand canyon of the black forest". That's a bit exaggerated, but it's a very nice place for hiking, with lots of rocks, waterfalls and small bridges. There's not only the Wutachschlucht but also other gorges that branch of the Wutachschlucht and you will need lots of time (and energy!) to discover all!

I love Löffingen and have stayed there a couple of times. As a child I fell down the Wutachschlucht, that was not quite so nice. It's beautiful, but can be dangerous.
