Niederburg Manderscheid

Manderscheid is located in the Eifel (a low mountain range), between Wittlich and Daun just a few kilometers from the highway A1. There's a sign on the highway with the castles of Manderscheid and I passed it several times, always thinking that once I should visit them. This time we really stopped, and at least visited the Niederburg. Unfortunately we couldn't also visit the other castle, and the Maarmuseum in Manderscheid could be interesting, too. So I guess I have to come back!
